Looking back to look forward
I was saving these photos for a special day. That day is today.
My dear and talented friend Ana Luísa took them on the saddest day of 2015. I was heartbroken and she opened her arms to welcome me, she took me camping and we danced until 3am.
When she sent these over, I cried. That is what I call a gift: the ability to capture someone on their saddest day, when sorrow seems to be the only companion and, somehow, photograph her light.
Today a new professional challenge stands before me. I am excited, motivated and if it is true that Monday is the perfect day to start new goals, then mine is:
Doing more of what I love and do let any sorrow hide my light!
Darling Ana Luísa, my gratitude to you for staying close.
Love, Petra
