We arrived at Museu da Marinha (National Navy Museum) in a perfect sunny Sunday for AWAY TOMARS and NAIR XAVIER show. Both collection cause quite the impact thanks to the choice of fabrics, execution and tailoring.

Back to Páteo da Galé, we sat in anticipation for FILIPE FAÍSCA show, with Sofia Aparício opening the show with impressive style and attitude, and setting the tone. NADIR TATI, the first time ever Angolan invitee, showed her colorful, ethnic and turban-styled collection in long and bright colored gowns. KOLOVRAT followed with an edgy and stylish collection that impressed me mainly for a glam-rock menswear. SAYMYNAME surprised me with toned down looks, none of the usual prints, and the sporty details we are so used to and that give the collection just the right surprise factor. If there is one designer that will, always, put on a show that is NUNO GAMA. True to form, his inspiration was our country and history. In beautiful jackets armed with eagles and howls the story was told in style.
Now, if you ask me, there was no better way to end fashion week than with PEDRO PEDRO with yet another beautiful and carefully thought out collection. His talent and creative vision made it worth waiting all day.
