The Queen of Print | Mary Katrantzou

If patterns and prints were not a trend, Mary Katrantzou would make it one. Considering they have been so for the past collections, Mary has achieved what was probably unexpected: she took it to another level!

Mary Katrantzou with some of her items. The blouse-dress is one of my favorites. Also interesting that she mostly appears wearing black.

Visually captivating, different, colorful, happy and exciting are many of the tags we can use to describe her beautiful designs.

With an interesting journey through the arts – architecture, interior design, textile creation – Mary proves that when you have creativity written in your DNA, every “stop” of that journey will take you right where you should be.

Mary‘s graduating show in 2008 imprinted her name in fashionistas’ eyes and her ready-to-wear SS 2009 collection showed that she is a keeper in the fashion catwalk of fame.

Her popularity is viral and celebrities all over the world make her designs a must-have for red carpet events where Katrantzou‘s signature pieces will make their celeb-models as memorable as their outfits.

Her biggest fan could possibly be Anna dello Russo who “insists” in showing the world that Style, Trendy and Fashionable are words that go hand in hand with the Greek designer’s name.

With a variety of pieces, colors and prints, there is no way you can go wrong in finding something you will love and will suit you. Dresses, skirts, trousers, coats, jackets, belts, shoes, purses and even jewellery guarantee that there is a little bit of Mary Katrantzou for every taste.
