32 days of Summer | RebeccaMinkoff SS13
Recuperating some of the key elements of her 2012 S/S collection, Rebecca Minkoff’s 2013 S/S collection moves one step up in making sure we are dressed in style.
32 looks pass before our eyes in a gradual transition of inspiration and vision for the next warm and sunny seasons.
The statement color of the collection is white, an old favorite of 2012. I, for once, like to think that good trends should be kept and pushed to the next level. Guess I am not the only one. So, with 18 out of 32 looks using white as a canvas, the floral prints are the soft splash of color that take us straight to summery days. The color pallet – emerald greens, japanese reds, cerulean blue – gives each look a fresh and casual vibe.
The models, with simple accessories, clean make-up and beachy hair capture to perfection while carrying Rebecca’s fabulous clutches, bags and maxi purses in fabulous mid and high heel sandals.
Playing with textures, lengths, fabrics within the same look, even, and gathering inspiration from the 50’s to the 80’s, this collection not only presents the designer’s S/S vision for 2013 but a full S/S closet make-over. You gotta give it to her, it is pretty brilliant!
With washed up jeans and shorts, below and above the knee dresses, tweed jackets and tweed shorts, jumpsuits, two piece looks, skirts, high waist pants and more, Rebecca Minkoff gives a complete range of looks for the next year’s spring and summer. And inspired we are to mix and match tops and bottoms to guarantee a very, very in-style 2013 Spring/Summer.
Guess I could go on and on, so nothing like a top 3 selection of what I’d love to have in my wardrobe:
