On-line goes On-print | Dior No.1 Issue

The Dior House realized it was time to move forward and challenge-up their incredibly successful online magazine with a print edition: Dior No.1 Issue – A New Direction.

The twist to it is that the print version is incredibly exclusive. No reason for surprise. After all, Dior has always been an exclusive brand.

Only the top clients and client prospects will have access to this carefully thought of, planed, designed and elaborated issue that makes our hearts beat with anxiety for now being one of the lucky winners to get their hands and eyes through these pages of art.

This 110 page edition elaborated by Fabien Baron counted with fashion photography renowned names like Patrick Demarchelier, Paolo Roversi, Willy Vanderperre and  Jean-Baptiste Mondino – in charge of cover and editorial – and went on-print on September 10th. The cover muse could be no other but Marion Cotillard in a 1947 look that makes the cover exquisite.

Marion Cotillard (who else, nowadays, can make Dior Couture look as glamorous as her?) embodies the beauty, grace, charm and irreverence of the Dior House style and creative concept.

Recuperating a 1940-50’s look in her garments, Cotillard and Mondino, take us back to a time of luxury, where beauty was carried on with style, where all accessories mattered and where women where the very stars of great designers creation.

The No.1 issue, published in 9 languages, takes us right where fashion lives, in the House of Dior.
